LED Lighting:

LED technology now provides alternative lighting solutions and products, enabling large reductions in energy use and a range of new technology to integrate into our homes and businesses.

What as recently as two years ago was a collection of sample and emerging technology has now been refined and now offers a range of stable proven, cost effective products.

LED lighting covers a wide range of products, initially a lot of the entry level early products based on low cost PCB light clusters where of relatively poor quality and often where disappointing in the light output.

It is fair to say that that there is still a lot of relatively low cost products on the market that fail to deliver anything more than a low glow, however this should not detract from the rapidly changing range of LED solutions that are comparable or better than their filament equivalents.

Boxcom Synergy utilises LED products across our Electrical and Home divisions in both the residential and the business sector.

This technology is changing on almost monthly basis as the various manufacturers launch their product ranges.

Satisfactory mains conventional dimming has up to now been the largest challenge facing this industry, products claim to dim correctly suffer from pulsing and a remaining low dim when switched off making them problematic to install within customer environments.

Boxcom has continually tracked these developments and carried out its own product testing to ensure we are providing the correct solution for the correct application.

We now offer a full range of solutions from major manufacturers such as Philips, Osram, Megaman that offer a direct replacement for traditional lighting and have the right colour rendering and light output to match their filament counterparts.

Additionally to design and installing LED lighting, Boxcom can integrate with a range of control options and protocols such as DALI & 0-10V control and dimming, providing the right solution for the right application.

LED is the future of lighting; the energy saving potential proves this technology and we believe this is the biggest change in lighting technology since the introduction of the low voltage transformer and dimmer switch.

Our client portfolio includes high end domestic bespoke design and install and commercially we are currently involved in the installation of LED technology at the Tower of London.
