RF / Technical Engineers:

Boxcom  Cablecom is looking to recruit RF technical engineers.  The role includes installation of, Freeview, Freesat, DAB & FM aerials and equipment in addition to working on audio visual, data communication systems, high definition and home technology equipment.

This position is aimed at a skilled RF rigger/engineer looking to progress their skills and work on next generation technology. 

This role is customer facing so excellent customer skills required, working at heights is involved so experience and qualification is preferred.

On-going training on technical engineering systems shall be provided, this position is ideally aimed at an individual wanting to progress their knowledge and skill working within a fast changing industry.

Knowledge of foreign satellite and IRS would be an advantage.

Reactive Maintenance Electrical Engineer:

We are looking to recruit engineers to join our  Boxcom Maintain electrical division.  Skills should include any of the following:  domestic, commercial & industrial electrical installation. City & Guilds or equivalent qualification preferred, experience in testing would be an advantage.

This role is based on responding to customer call outs and small project work.

The ability to identify and resolve common faults and carry out small works is essential .

Applicants should be physically fit and be able to work at customer sites, driving is a requirement and being able to work on your own or as part of a team and work flexible hours if required.

This position is self-employed and payment is pro rata to hours worked.

Vehicle, tools (power, testing, access & cable management) shall be supplied.

Boxcom Maintain currently operates from 0800hrs to 2000hrs, Monday to Saturday.

Applicants should be willing to work on demand as required to fulfil customer workload.

We are looking for trainee engineers to join our technical division.  Skills should include or have an interest in working within the following sectors:  electrical engineering, data / communication, security including intruder, CCTV,  access control, lighting control, BMS.

Working as self employed aerial riggers; Boxcom Cablecom is looking to recruit riggers with experience in installing SKY, Freeview, Freesat, DAB & FM aerials and equipment.
