Self Build:

Boxcom has worked within the self build sector for a number of years.

One thing we are certain of is the need for comprehensive project management and exacting planning to ensure the right solution is undertaken and costs are kept under control.

Self build projects are by their very nature extremely complicated and individuals who undertake these need to ensure that they have the necessary skills or employ people with the right skills and experience to ensure all factors are considered.

Where Boxcom can be hugely beneficial is our one stop approach, by offering a large range of services we negate the need for a larger number of separate contractors, trades or sub-contractors removing a large amount of inter trade/company liaison which is often a stumbling block with self build projects.

The other important issue is agreeing correct and comprehensive project budgets to ensure all costs are considered.

Pre-wiring of a property is key as you only really get one opportunity; equipment installation can be carried out at a later stage as budget allows ensuring the infrastructure is complete.
