- Boxcom Electrical reserves the right to withdraw both this offer or any individual appointments at any time.
- Offer does not apply to commercial property or rented property and can only be applied for by the owner of the individual property.
- The report is based on a guide and shall not replace or purport to be a full test certificate of any kind and should not be relied on for any other purpose other than a visual report based on a single visit to the property.
- The report is aimed at providing a broad overview to the client on the current condition of the property and is not in any designed to provide information to be passed to a third party or to form the basis of a property sale or rental.
- By applying for this offer the customer accepts that this report is based on providing information on the general overall condition of the installation and may not cover specific items.
- By accepting this offer the customer acknowledges that this report is not designed for any other purpose except to provide a sampled overview of the properties current electrical condition and does not replace any legal requirement or need for an Approved Test Certificate or Part P document.
- By accepting this offer the customer acknowledges that this report is in no way designed to replace the requirement of a full or part Periodic Inspection Report.
- The scope of the report is to identify outdated, damaged and incorrect equipment, provide advice on upgrading of equipment and the installation of recommended safety equipment.
- The report may be based on a section of the property inspected and is limited to accessible areas; it will not check and therefore cannot provide information of cables routed within the buildings fabric, under the floor and in non accessible or visible areas.
- In the event of an electrical installation being in such a condition that it presents the risk of electric shock or has direct access to live parts the engineer will follow NICEIC guidance and isolate the circuit and issue the owner/resident an NICEIC Electrical Danger Notification Certificate.
- On completion of the visual inspection Boxcom shall issue its report within 14 days.
- By no means is this document intended to supersede or replace any other type of documentation and it is not intended to be used in anyway other than to inform the customer the broad overall condition of the installation.
- Boxcom Electrical reserves the right to withdraw or refuse to issue the report at anytime; additionally Boxcom Electrical reserves the right to cancel any booked or actual visit appointment at its discretion.
- Boxcom Electrical will not charge for this service, if any work is required a written quotation shall be posted and the customer telephoned once to ensure receipt, this offer is free and by undertaking the customer is under no obligation whatsoever.
- Visits cancelled up to 12 hours in advance or where there is no access to the property at time of visit will be charged a cancellation fee of £ 49.00exVAT, this is at the discretion of Boxcom Ltd.
